A.I. in Agriculture
A project for Cefetra Environmental Solutions
Using self-learning algorithms has become ever-more present in the recent years and so it did in agriculture as well. For Cefetra me and my team had to design a way of using machine learning and natural language processing models for trend prediction in the context of new European Environmental Policies.
Besides having this as a an extracurricular project, having its own challenges, it posed a big obstacle to get to understand the industry where Cefetra operates and the needs of their day-to-day work.
Conclusion:
Though highly set on a solution revolving around the usage of Self-Learning algorithms it became evident after diving in deeper on their needs that what they more urgently needed was an interface on which they can document their trend analysis more efficiently.
During the process we had to align with their needs and also, what proved to be the main challenge, was to convince them that a renewed user interface with the A.I. used merely as a tool would benefit them more.
